Offering flexible daily, weekly and respite adult day care for the over 50s Monday to Friday, we are specialists in adult and elderly care for those with dementia related illnesses and Parkinson’s.

Our clients enjoy socialising, crafts, cooking and entertainment. Everyday is different and we tailor our activities to the things our clients enjoy, together with seasonal celebrations, what’s happening locally and in the wider world. Our fees are transparent and fully inclusive of all drinks, snacks, a two-course hot lunch and all activities and VAT.

A secure and comfortable day care centre with our own enclosed garden, you’ll find us behind Apple Tree Care Home in Strensall, just outside York. Our highly trained and dedicated team are here to help ensure our clients get the most out of life: keeping up old hobbies and finding new ones; enjoying others’ company and companionship; keeping busy and having fun.

Donna Jameson is the Centre’s Supervisor. Working in care for over 13 years, initially as a home carer, Donna has been with Strensall Day Care Centre for nine years. Fully trained in first aid, medication, dementia awareness, health and safety, moving and handling, food hygiene, infection control, fire safety and safeguarding, Donna has a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. Offering a warm and friendly welcome everyday, Donna and her team work to ensure that everyone who joins gets the most from the different activities, in the knowledge that they are improving each person’s quality of life through engaged mental health and improved mobility.
